"This apartment was in a great location close to the town centre (about a 6 minute walk downhill and then back up after). The parking is easy to access and very spacious. The view from the deck is amazing. It was nice to be able to access the property without having to meet with anyone. This way we did not have to worry about arriving at a specific time. We are on vacation and don't want to be tied down to a schedule. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The local property managers were really helpful and even went out and bought a fan for us to use as we need one at night to sleep. This was greatly appreciated! They also left us some staples in the fridge which was a nice surprise and so thoughtful. The bed was comfortable and the washing machine was a bonus as we needed to wash our clothes after two weeks of hiking. Internet was really good, never lost access. We loved the town of Samoens and would return for another visit."

"This may not be a bad thing for other people as no one else has mentioned it, but in the picture of the view from the deck out over the valley, the road that you come up to get to the property is in fact just a few feet below the deck you are sitting on and there is regular traffic that passes there all day. Most houses on that road have a deck facing in the same direction so this may be commonplace and not an issue. We were just surprised as we were expecting quiet countryside. After doing a lot of hiking, we saw that if you rented further up the mountain it would be much more quiet but then you are not close to the town centre so it depends on what you are looking for. To note that you don't hear anything at night with the windows closed."
